I’ve got plenty in place including: allowing quizzing from home, monitoring usage daily, sending out email reminders, liaising with English staff and parents and encouraging pupils to reach their targets - but are you doing anything differently?
Sadly our school reward system has now shut down and we can no longer add credits for good work - which for me and pupils was a big part of AR.
So, maybe we could start to share what we are all doing to help our pupils stay on track with AR.
Thanks, I’ve done this - I monitor daily too
Sarah Pavey has come up with a few ideas on her list which can be found here...
This is what she says about AR (Accelerated Reader)
"Send out reading lists for eg for AR levels, year groups or key stages with a precis of the chosen books and how they can be accessed online"
